Title: How I spent my friday on 20/07/07

At firstI had originally planned to go to Bryan's house but after that changed my plan as he as following Tim somewhere. Having no place to go, my friend Shane asked me to go to SAFRA to play pool. We had to go home to change first as we could not go play in school uniform. While waiting for the bus to take home with Tim, I saw Bryan with other friends( Samuel Sim, Andre,Mandy,Wen Yu,Amanda,Zoe,Stanley) on their way to MacDonald's. Bryan and Tim told me not to go to play pool so I decided to follow them to 'Mac'. After ordering and eating our food, I suggested to play some games. We played distraction games that are normally used for Ice-breakers.

After having had fun playing them, we decided to tell jokes. We told so many jokes that I laughed until I had stomach aches.(Serious) As we had been sitting down during the whole time we were playing games and telling hte entire time , we decided to play 'Freeze and Melt'. We only played for once as Amanda and Stanley had to go so we decided to go to play at Bryan's house as there was more space to play. On the way there somebody decided to go to Cold Storage so we dropped down a few stops earlier. In Cold Storage, we started laughing again at some whisky that sounded like 'otah'. We also went to a book store to look at some joke books, (laugh down there also) and a video shop (laughed at some jokes about the movie '300'). After boarding the bus to Bryan's house,Bryan siggested to go to Wen Yu's house. It was a condominium but it looked like HDB. Haha, I'm still laughing at it.

We walked around Wen Yu's condo and laughed at a lot of things like the gym, swimming pool, study room(no air-con,haha),toilet,bbq pit(haha) and the best... her new playground with 'rock climbing'(hahaha). After that we went to Bryan's house and went to play at the gym, then went to play basketball for a while, before going home.

I went home with Samuel Sim. He had brought a drink(sugarcane and water chestnut crap) up the bus and halfway, he spilled it. We immediately changed seats( not with each other of course) and sat on the ones at the back. At one stop, one man boarded and came and sat on the wet seat! I started to laugh but felt sorry for the guy, imagine seating on a sticky, wet seat wit a clean pair of white pants. Ugh!

Anyway that was one of the most fun days and I'm looking forward to more of them.

Title: If I were a teacher, I would like my studenrs to (be) ... ...

I would like my students to be fun and not study all the time. I will try to understand them, for example, why they can't hand up their homework on time. They might have lots of other homework from other teachers and just could not finish it on time. They may have problems at home or have a lot of stress from parents to study well and juust needed a break. If they forgot to do their work, it will be fine but they must hand it up at the next lesson. Teachers should not scold students for forgetting to do their work as forgetting to do something is part and parcel of life, that's why the English people created the word 'forget'.

I won't scold my students if they talk/laugh in class. It is a natural thing to do but there is a limit. If they talk too much, I will not scold but explain to them that it would not help them if they are talking about leisure and not paying attention in my class. I would say that they would be missing out on the knowledge I woud be sharing.

Discuss "A platonic friendship is possible even between a guy and a girl (close bonding between a boy and a girl does not necessarily mean they like each other)".

A platonic friendship is definitely okay between a boy and a girl as a girl/boy can just be a friends like all your other same sex friends. Being friends with the other sex does not neccssarily mean that you mean that you must like him/her. In fact, you can even get to know people of the other sex better instead of always being with people of the same sex. I know one girl from an all girls school and only has girl friends. She does not know how to talk to boys and feels wierd in the company of boys. I guess that we should have friends from both sexes, if not we might end up like her.

Title: How can we ensure that we can be responsible and upkeep moral values when in a relationship with the members of the opposite sex.Do you agree?

I believe that as long as we do not go against the morals of the other the other partner. Keeping the moral values really depends on the couple; how they behave, ecetra. Also we should not learn from what we watch in movies as they often teach us the wrong morals. Most of the time people learn from what they see and not what they hear. People also must respect their partner's beliefs and be careful not to neglect them.Well after writing so much I still have not answered the question whether I agree or not, so here is my answer; yes I agree as long as we respect the other party and his/her beliefs, I feel it is alright to have a relationship.
